Don't let the name fool you, Jim's does Mexican as well as anywhere else in Sioux City. Serving great authentic Mexican food, they also serve your basic American fare. And they're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Jim's has a few things you really need to try. If you're going for breakfast, get a combo breakfast burrito with sausage, bacon, and ham. Otherwise, make sure to take advantage of their tacos. At $1 a taco, you can't go wrong, especially with the carne asada. And make sure to get their house sauce and pickled carrots and jalapenos too! Great burger place! Not the place to go if you're dieting! They have good Mexican as well:) Oh! And the have a drive thru so you can call ahead and pick up at the window:) There's other locations too- all are yummy!

These three Jim's Burgers are the typical quick Mexi-American food that a lot of cheap Californian's are used to eating in SoCal. In Long Beach they are called Tommy's Fries or Poly Burgers, and there are several Jim's Burgers that may be associated to the local ones here in Sioux City. The onion rings are light and crispy. The chili cheese fries are good. The carne asada tacos are authentic soft tacos with meat, onions, cilantro and taste better with lime juice. As simple Mexican food you can get and basic fast food burgers that appeal to everyone because they have a little bit of everything. Good for your appetite and budget, bad for your waistline if you eat here everyday without a fast metabolism.
